It has been a rough start for the Golden State Warriors. With two games into the NBA season, the champions have gone 0-2 thus far, losing the opener to the Los Angeles Clippers in a blowout, then followed it up with another bad loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, who is currently in a rebuild.
After the game, Draymond Green came out and said the team flat out sucked, echoing his thoughts after their opener at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Though the Warriors have a young squad and a lot of pieces trying to integrate into the new team, nobody ever expected them to start out the season like this. Steph Curry has been trying to regain his MVP form, D’Angelo Russell got tossed from the last game after a bad call and the frustration is setting in. Their defense is non-existent so far.
Coach Steve Kerr has been quoted as saying this is Dub Nations new “reality.”
Will they be able to recover enough to make a playoff push at the end of the season? We’re not counting them out just yet.
