With only a few weeks before the start of NBA training camps, Dwyane Wade has made one of the biggest decisions of his life: He is retiring from the Miami Heat.
In a video posted online titled “One Last Dance…,” Wade looks back at his career and all of the struggles it took to get to this moment. He shares his basketball story and how much he was doubted along the way and how he had to work hard to be champion. He gets personal about loved ones he’s lost and how this decision is bigger than basketball.
Dwyane sheds a few tears when talking about Hank and how hard last season was for him without him, even after being traded back to Miami and the city he loves.
He kept it real on all levels. Season 16 will be his last.
