#ThisWasTheXFL!
After years of teasing it, ESPN is finally doing something Vince McMahon refuses to bring up on WWE TV – the story of the XFL. The alternate to the NFL and Arena Football soon became one of Vince’s worst investments ever – to the point of him losing $60 million on the product.
Luckily, the former league is getting some 30 for 30 treatment in a few weeks, as we get a glimpse of This Was The XFL; including those who were there for the short-lived nightmare WWE and both NBC endured during 2001. Look for the full-length documentary to premiere February 2nd on ESPN.
