Giannis Antetokounmpo Beat the Knicks At the Buzzer With Step-Back Shot

Just a few days ago, Giannis Antetokounmpo was humbling himself after Jason Kidd benched him and he had to look up his career highlights on Wikipedia. Come to find out, his coach was a Rookie of the Year, a 10x All-Star, NBA Champion, 5× All-NBA First Team. Not too shabby.

Fast forward a few days later, The Greek Freak is at Madison Square Garden hitting the game-winning shot as a dagger to the New York Knicks at home.

The game was close down the stretch and Carmelo Anthony was doing all he could to bring he Knicks back. But in the end, Antetokounmpo was too much for the team to handle. Especially with less than 10 seconds left in the game and the clock ticking down.

Posting up on Lance Thomas, Giannis somehow dribbled to the top of the key, took a step-back and threw up a shot. The buzzer went off and the shot went in.

The legend of The Greek Freak in Milwaukee continues.

Antetokounmpo scored a team high 27 points and brought down 13 rebounds for the game in the win. Greg Monroe also scored 18 points off the bench, while Jabari Parker finished with 15 points.

‘Melo had 30 points and 7 assists, with Derrick Rose dropping 15 points for the Knicks.
