The Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar Rematch
Just over a month ago, it was first announced by ESPN that Bill Goldberg would be returning to the WWE for the first time in over 12 years. The legendary WCW Champion had been inactive from the entire spot of professional wrestling, after his falling out with Vince McMahon in 2004.
However, through a few guest DVD appearances for the company, both sides managed to put their egos aside for one final run. A rematch against his last opponent, Brock Lesnar, was set for this year’s Survivor Series. The crowd in Toronto witnessed three hours of traditional rules of the long-standing event, before the two brutes closed out the night. However, what they weren’t expecting, was a complete squash match – reminiscing his original Monday Nitro days from 20 years ago.
Above, we have a glimpse, at nearly the entire match, as Goldberg spears Brock, before Paul Heyman desperately pleads above for help. With the exception of a final spear and a jackknife, this is literally the entire match fans waited hours for. Rematch for Royal Rumble or WrestleMania?
