Gordon Hayward Throws It Down On Julius Randle

The Utah Jazz are creeping at what might be a playoff spot in the Western Conference spot, even though it’s only the first half of the season underway. But wait until they find the groove after All-Star Break. They might be a scary contender to face in the first round.

The young Los Angeles Lakers squad looked legit, until they took a skid and started losing games, and can’t seem to close out games where they could have won.

Tonight, the Jazz were victorious but it was partly because the Baby Lake Show was playing terrible defense down the stretch and couldn’t convert a basket on offense.

Down the stretch with the game going back and forth, Gordon Hayward threw it down over Julius Randle. He elevated and slammed it in his face. It was something we didn’t expect to see what that point but came at a crucial point in the game.

If you missed the tense last three minutes of the game, you can watch how L.A. lost the game.

Hayward finished the game leading all scorers with 31 points and brought down 9 rebounds, while the Lakers effort was led by Randle, who had 25 points and 12 rebounds for the team. Lou Williams also dropped 22 points from off the bench.

FINAL: UTAH 102 | LAL 100
