Jimmy Butler to join CP3 & Harden?
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Jimmy Butler had informed Minnesota that the Miami Heat were his preferred destination. With the Heat having multiple young core pieces, they made an alleged final offer to Minnesota Thursday morning and backed out of conversations.
Some are still saying that Miami is active in talks for Jimmy, as they told the Wolves to sort out their situation. Well, this weekend, the Houston Rockets are making a push for star two-way player, which will have the Sacramento Kings as a third team involved to complete the deal.
At the moment, Houston is offering Eric Gordon, another player hopefully not named PJ Tucker and a future 1st and 2nd round pick as compensation – which looks to be their best offer. Due to their lack of contract flexibility, the team will need Sacramento to absorb a player in completing the deal – as they plan on sending them their 2019 1st round pick for absorbing salary.
