Could this be the end of the season for J.J. Watt already? According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Houston Texans defensive end has re-injured his back and could be out for an extended period of time. How long that is, is not known as of yet, but worst comes to worst it could be a season ending injury.
Reports say that he may have suffered the back injury during last week’s loss to the New England Patriots.
Although the Texans are already strong on the defensive line side of things, it will still be a blow to the team to lose the heart of the defense this early in the season.
Watt hasn’t quite been beast mode this year and this latest setback isn’t helping either.

UPDATE: The Texans have placed Watt on IR and he will be eligible to return November 27, but the team considers that a “long shot.” J.J. played through 83 consecutive games and this will be the first time in his career that he misses extended time.
He posted a message on Twitter to fans and supporters.
Adversity sucks.
Your attitude towards it doesn't have to.
