Before the season, nobody expected the Memphis Grizzlies to do anything this season, but Ja Morant has propelled them into a rising squad. The rookie has been tearing the league up, really making his teammates better and coming through in the clutch.
In a new interview with Rachel Nichols of The Jump, this year’s presumed Rookie of the Year talked about a lot. From not backing down from elite players in the NBA like James Harden, to being snubbed as an All-Star, it’s clear he’s looking forward to get the respect around the league. He also talked about expectations this season and why the Grizz have overachieved as they sit at the eighth spot in the Western Conference.
