Jabari Parker Is Out For the Season With ACL Tear

The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the best up and coming teams to watch out of the Eastern Conference, in part because of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker.

The second pick of the 2014 NBA Draft has really broke out this season, averaging 20 points per game, and 6.2 rebounds per game to keep Milwaukee in the playoff race. The Bucks currently sit at 11th place in the East but are only two or three games away from the 8th seed.

In last night’s loss to the Miami Heat, fans had to gasp.

Parker went down with a knee injury when he was driving to the hoop in the third quarter. He left the game with a knee sprain but an MRI today revealed the forward suffered an ACL tear.

Parker is set to miss the next 12 months to recover, effectively ending his season.

Back in December of his rookie year, Jabari tore the ACL is that same knee and had to miss the remainder of that season and the start of the 2015-2016 season because of rehab.

Tough news to swallow for Bucks fans, who were hoping to see the postseason and a bright future. Get well soon Jabari.
