James Harden and Mario Chalmers Get Into A Little Scrum

We always love when basketball gets physical because it brings out a lot of “hold me back” moments. Last night as the Houston Rockets played the Memphis Grizzlies at home, James Harden and Mario Chalmers got into a small scuffle in the fourth quarter.

There was a little less than three minutes left in the game with the scored tied at 88 and things getting tense. As you can see from the clip, Harden was being pressed high by Ennis, getting shoved a little while establishing position. Then on a screen, Chalmers ran right into The Beard’s shoulder, fell, then proceeded to tangle up his feet.

James didn’t take a liking to this and pushed him back to the floor when he was trying to get up to get back into playing the game.

That’s when officials stepped in and started holding people back.

The result? The Grizz won and gave the Rockets their first loss of the season as one of the surprise teams in the NBA thus far.

Harden had 22 points and 8 assists in the game but couldn’t seal the win down the stretch. Chalmers scored 11 points off the bench for Memphis.
