“We know where we come from” – Hov
Monday night, LeBron James and his family were in Brooklyn to accept the Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year Award. Coincidentally, JAY Z was on-hand to honor his friend in his hometown borough, for a look back at his biggest career accomplishment to date.
However, in the midst of reflecting on King James the man and his accomplishments, Lucky Lefty wouldn’t leave those in attendance without something to talk about after the show. Just last month, Phil Jackson essentially called L.B.J. a diva and referenced his business partners as a posse.
While LeBron opted not to go in-depth on the situation, he said he had respect for the Zen-Master – prior to giving the Knicks their worst defeat of the year. Before bringing out the King, S. Dot went to say, “The son who honors and worships his mother, Gloria. The friend who put his posse in position. We know where we come from. We do understand where we come from.”
