Jimmy Butler Hits Step-Back Buzzer Beater Against Nets

Without Dwyane Wade, who was out with migraines and Jimmy Butler down with an ankle injury, things were looking grim for the Chicago Bulls down the stretch of this game against the Brooklyn Nets.

But Butler found it in him to come back into the game and put the stamp on the win.

With about 12 seconds left in the game, Jimmy got the inbounds and knew what he was going to do. He was going to go straight at Bojan Bogdanovic. Except he stopped and took the step-back shot at the top of the key. The shot went in. It was glorious.

Here’s how the last minute of the game unfolded:

Brook Lopez’s 33 points weren’t enough for the Nets to get the W on this night.

Wade County still had 16 points before he left the game, while Butler dropped a whopping 40 points and 11 rebounds on the United Center crowd in attendance.
