John Wall Goes Behind the Back Through Hawks Defense for Slam

Before the game, it seemed like the Washington Wizards had the clear advantage against the Atlanta Hawks. If they won Game 3 of their first round playoff matchup, it was pretty much over for ATL.

But that’s not quite what happened.

The Hawks came back with a vengeance at home and it seemed like John Wall was the only one putting up numbers against them on the day. If it wasn’t for him, they would have got blown out worse.

The highlight of the game (and maybe even year, or at least playoffs) was this drive to the hoop in which he went through four Hawks defenders, behind-the-back and took it to the rack for the thunderous slam. Who knows where this came from, but it was incredible.

Wall finished with 29 points and 7 assists on the night, while Paul Millsap carried Atlanta with 29 points and 14 rebounds and teammate Dennis Schroder had 27 points and 9 assists.

FINAL: WAS 98 | ATL 116
