Johnny Manziel Gets First Win of NFL Career

He’s finding the groove

We saw glimpses of Johnny Manziel‘s talent last week, when he connected on a long touchdown to Travis Benjamin as soon as he entered the game to replace Josh McCown. Unfortunately, it did not translate to a win for the Cleveland Browns, but the potential was there. The trend of long passes continued today as OVO Manziel started his third NFL game ever against the surprising Tennessee Titans.

Johnny Football connected with Benjamin on not one, but two, long touchdowns on the afternoon (one for 60 yards in the first quarter and another 50 yarder in the 4th) to seal the victory at home for the Browns and silence the Titans buzz from the previous week.

Coach Mike Pettine will have a big decision this week on who starts next game, if McCown passes protocol, because Manziel seems to have the momentum going right now.

FINAL: CLE 28 | TEN 14
