JR Smith Asks for Trade Away From Cleveland Cavaliers

Things are combusting in Cleveland post-LeBron James, because not only are they losing, but they fired Coach Tyrron Lue and now players want out.

JR Smith is unhappy with the playing time he’s receiving, saying, “They know. They don’t want me here, so they obviously know.”

It’s clear the Cavaliers are looking to tank, which is why they told JR Swish that they would remove him from the regular rotation. Obviously he didn’t take this in stride and is now looking to leave the team for a better situation.

The Cavs are paying JR $14.7 million this season but is averaging 2.5 points and 1 rebound for the season, getting less than 20 minutes a game.

He’s not the only one, though. Kyle Korver is also on the trade block.

Either way, Cleveland fans should get used to losing again because things are looking bleak for the foreseeable future. It’s tanking season.
