Kevin Durant Has A “Good Shot” to Sign with Knicks Next Summer

Yesterday, when Kevin Durant was asked about free agency next summer, he revealed he would be honest and transparent about his decision.

Today on Undisputed, new Yahoo! insider Chris Haynes told Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe that the New York Knicks have a good chance of signing KD in 2019, noting to the “allure” of the big lights in New York City and Madison Square Garden. Something similar to what brought LeBron James to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The interesting part is that Haynes spent a good portion of last year covering the Golden State Warriors, so his word means something.

While it’s still speculation, it’s interesting to hear from a close source.

Our take-away from this news is the fact that it seems like Durant is taking a lot of game from LeBron, as much as he’s doing it for his own “best interest.” Why would he leave a good situation and potential dynasty in Golden State to go cross country and a rebuild with the Knicks?

Either way, the hate for KD would be exponential if he left for the Big Apple.
