Kevin Durant Is Ruled Out 2 Weeks for Warriors with Rib Injury

These Golden State Warriors injuries are starting to pile up and at this point, fans should be hitting code red on the panic meter heading into the playoffs.

After Steph Curry and Klay Thompson were ruled out with ankle and thumb injuries, Kevin Durant has been diagnosed with an incomplete rib-cartilage fracture following an MRI today. He will be out for the next two weeks, all the way until the end of March.

If he comes back then, the Warriors will have about six games in April before the NBA playoffs begin. They currently trail the Houston Rockets two games in the Western Conference standings. It is safe to say they care more about health than getting the No. 1 seed in the conference by the time the postseason begins.

It should be worrisome that three out of their four All-Stars are hurt at the same time and we’re sure the team will be cautious about getting them back on the court early.
