Kevin Durant & Russell Westbrook Diss Steph Curry’s Defensive Ability

Westbrook’s reaction, though

Thursday night, the Golden State Warriors won a pivotal game five of the Western Conference Finals to stay alive in the competitive series, now down 3-2. As the Bay Area team looks to even things out in a must-win game Saturday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Michelle Steele, had a baffling question for their opponents, following the meeting.

Above, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were questioned by the ESPN reporter if they believe Stephen Curry’s defense was underrated – after a few miraculous plays to keep the Warriors in the series. Durant soon went to explain how Curry doesn’t have to guard the elite points around the league, which normally falls on the shoulders of Klay Thompson.

While saying he can move his feet and hands (as part of basic fundamentals), Kevin still feels better when the league’s regular season MVP is guarding Russell. As you notice above, Westbrook didn’t have to say a word; but his reactions throughout the entire video and him going at the neck of Steph this post-season says enough. Let us know in the comments what you think.
