Kobe Bryant Breaks Down How To Stop LeBron James

It looks like the Black Mamba has a lot of time on his hands now that he’s retired from basketball. Instead of vacationing in Italy forever, Kobe Bryant has partnered with ESPN on a six-part series called Canvas, created, directed and written by him.

The first part focused on “Guarding The Greats,” and how Kevin Durant could help slow down LeBron James. He admits that sometimes no matter what you (or the defense) does, there’s no stopping them. But if you can stop them from scoring, you can at least help slow them down. You just have to study the opponent and their tendencies, so you can exploit them in real-time.

The problem is, LBJ knows this and can adjust.

Stay tuned for more Canvas segments to come during some of the most pivotal matchups throughout the season, including those in the playoffs and NBA Finals. There’s four more to go.
