Kyle Lowry Sends Subliminal Message to Toronto Raptors Front Office after Loss

A significant change could be near. . .

Last night, the Toronto Raptors were home for an evening meeting against the under-performing Detroit Pistons. While they had a pretty comfortable 15-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, the team saw a significant meltdown during key stretches of the affair and eventually lost.

During the final 9-minutes in the game, Toronto saw a minus 17-point scoring deficit handed to them by the Pistons. After the game, team captain, Kyle Lowry, had an eye-raising interview with media members to vent his with how things have been transgressing in recent weeks. In the team’s last 14 games, they’ve dropped an alarming 10 – against the Magic, Wolves, Suns and Sixers.

Kyle would soon say, “Keeping the same situations over and over, and not being successful, something’s gotta give, something’s gotta change.” While he wouldn’t address what needs to happen directly, we took the comments as an indication to their front office to make coaching changes.

Dwane Casey has had success with the team, but after losing in the conference finals last year to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lowry believes his team can take the next step this spring.
