Kyle Lowry Explains Feelings After DeMar DeRozan Trade, Playing with Kawhi Leonard

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. LeBron James finally left the Eastern Conference to play with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Toronto Raptors were looking to finally get over the hump this season, then they fire Coach Casey and trade away DeMar DeRozan.

With Kawhi Leonard now in Toronto, Kyle Lowry sat down with The Jump‘s Rachel Nichols to speak on what it’s like playing with his new teammate.

According to Lowry, Kawhi is not a mute guy and he has plenty to say.

He also spoke on hearing about DeRozan being traded and how it all went down. During the talk, he also spoke on his relationship with Raptors GM Masai Ujiri and it sounded like he’s still salty over what happened with his friend.

Toronto currently hold the best record in the NBA and are contenders to come out of the East and possibly make it to the NBA Finals. The irony, right?
