Kyrie Irving Is Not Angry at Teammates or the Celtics Anymore

It seems like every game after the All-Star Weekend festivities has been torcher for Kyrie Irving. Every time he talked to the media, he was salty, not saying much and saying the wrong things. Most people at this point did not understand the discord between him, the team or management.

According to him a few days ago, the speculation and business aspect of the game is what he didn’t sign up for. He merely just wants to play basketball at a high level and enjoy what he does with the side shows.

Last night against the Golden State Warriors, things potentially could have gotten worse. Except, they won in surprising fashion.

The Boston Celtics dominated throughout, Gordon Hayward had 30 points off the bench, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown contributed heavy and things were clicking for the team like we thought they would all season.

After the game, Kyrie divulged that the long plane ride helped the team last night and it looks like some differences were worked out. Apparently he had a long talk with Coach Brad Stevens and Danny Ainge and he seemed happier last night than he has all month or all year.

How long will it last, remains to be seen, but if the C’s find their rhythm really soon, it could be danger for the Eastern Conference.
