You knew it was coming. LaVar Ball’s big mouth talking and media attention would somehow come down on his son Lonzo. It happened when UCLA lost to Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament and De’Aaron Fox schooled the young Ball son out of a championship. The Bruins didn’t win a championship like the father predicted and all of the talk surrounding them had to do with LaVar’s outlandish claims.
One of them was how he said he could beat Michael Jordan one-on-one in his ‘hey day.’ While this video that surfaced isn’t that, it’s hard to say he could beat anyone at one-on-one, including his sons. Thanks to the Charlotte Observer, we can now see he was blowing smoke and have proof of it.
