With Thursday, Sunday and Monday Night Football ratings all down by 20 percent over more this year, Roger Goodell and his team at the NFL are still scratching their heads as to why they’re losing TV revenue. Last week, Seahawks corner-back, Richard Sherman, was randomly questioned why the NFL was having a hard time at locking in viewers, losing Sunday Ticket subscribers like us, and keeping live viewers – which he simply said, the league isn’t fun anymore.
He went to say that other professional sports enjoy the game they play, and said owners and GMs are treating the sport like politics – not entertainment. LeBron James went to agree with what many stars like Sherman are saying, citing how the “fun-part” of the NFL is essentially gone.
