LeBron James Drills Buzzer Beater in Overtime to Beat Timberwolves

It was an absolutely wild game in The Land tonight, as the Cleveland Cavaliers took on the Minnesota Timberwolves. There were an insane amount of lead changes throughout the game and historic number of three pointers by two teams, but the shot of the season so far for the Cavs came by way of LeBron James.

During overtime and only one second left on the clock, King James received a damn near cross court pass, pushed off Jimmy Butler and hit the clutch jumper from the free throw line.

Every fan in Quicken Loans Arena went bezerk.

This came right after he made a huge block on defense in the previous possession, which led to the Cavs getting the ball back, calling timeout and one more opportunity to seal the win. And boy did they take advantage.

The buzzer beater capped off a triple-double for LBJ, who finished the game with 37 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists. It was lights out for him.

After this week of controversy, the Cavs desperately needed a win. They had an embarrassing loss against the Orlando Magic last night and speculation in the media about the turmoil in the locker room and James’ discord with the front office and ownership has been at an all-time high.

Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns played an excellent game, as each scored 35 points and 30 points respectively. Andrew Wiggins also had a quiet 19 points for the Timberwolves.
