LeBron James Pays Back World Series Debt with Dwyane Wade

As we all know, this year’s world series was crazy. The Cleveland Indians lost to the Chicago Cubs in seven games, breaking the 108 year curse the city had.

Out in basketball world, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade had a friendly wager going on the series.

If the Cubs won, King James had to wear a Cubs outfit the next time the Cleveland Cavaliers were in town playing the Chicago Bulls. If the Indians won, D-Wade would have had to do it in Believeland. Obviously, we know who won, so that’s why LBJ was in the Chi decked in Cubbies gear.

It was all jokes, but Wade got the last laugh on this one.

Even the court he did too. The Cavs ended up losing to the Bulls on the road. Wade had 24 points, Jimmy Butler dropped 26 and Taj Gibson had 23 of his own. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving had 27 points and 20 points, respectively, but it wasn’t enough to pull out the win.
