Now that it’s official that Dwyane Wade is going to Cleveland to play for the Cavaliers at least for one year, LeBron James can come out and speak on the situation.
During shootaround, the media asked him about this and he proceeded to call Wade one of his best friends and what it means to play with him again. He also spoke on the possibility of another banana boat brother joining the Cavs with speculation during this offseason, but he deflected things back to his own team, not hypothetical situations that didn’t happen.
As far as what he brings to the Cavs, he says D-Wade brings high IQ and championship DNA to the team, as well as athleticism.
