As far as we know, no player on either of the two NBA Finals teams has the Based God curse, but things can change at any given moment. In the last round, Lil B was adamant about stating that Kevin Durant still had the curse on him and considering the way they imploded to give up the 3-1 series lead, by the time they lost that fourth game, everyone was screaming “THE CURSE IS REAL” and making fun on Twitter.
In the last episode of The Jump, Lil B joined Rachel Nichols, Tracy McGrady and Ramona Shelbourne to bless the show and talk about why Durant and James Harden were still under the spell of the Based God. Although Harden had his curse lifted, it was placed back on him as he continues to struggle for the Houston Rockets.
The Warriors seem to be blessed by the Based God, so that means back-to-back championships, right?
