New York Giants Owners Contemplating Odell Beckham Jr. Trade

Would you trade Odell?

This off-season, we’ve seen Odell Beckham Jr. surrounded by nothing but drama, that surprisingly hasn’t spilled into him actually getting in trouble. The 25-year-old star wide-out is looking to become the NFL’s highest-paid player next winter when his rookie contract is finally over.

Odell wants a deal upwards of $20 million per-year, after missing the bulk of New York’s 2017 season – due to ankle surgery. Well, Giants owners are skeptical whether or not they want to give make him the face of their franchise going forward. In a conversation with media, John Mara addressed the possibility of trading the wide-receiver and said no one on the team is untouchable.

He went to say, “I mean we’re certainly not shopping him, if that’s what you’re asking. But when you’re coming off a season where you’re 3-13 and played as poorly as we played, I wouldn’t say anyone’s untouchable. He knows what’s expected of him, and now it’s up to him.” This comes just after infamous video leak of allegedly being surrounded by drugs in a Paris hotel bed on camera.

Regarding Odell’s contract, Mara addressed the concern saying, “I’m not gonna talk about his contract. It’ll get done when they’re supposed to get done. We’ll just have to see what happens.”

Let us know what you think of the team contemplating this idea of parting ways with Beckham.
