Patrick Beverley Is Out For the Season for Clippers After Meniscus Surgery

The Los Angeles Clippers have been on a downward spiral in recent weeks, currently on a 9-game losing streak and the team looking as lost as ever after how they started the season. Hyped up guard Milos Teodosic has been out for most of the season so far and Clip City has also been without Patrick Beverley for five games (before Monday when he played against the New York Knicks), but the team just suffered more bad news on that front.

Beverley underwent surgery earlier today to repair a torn meniscus microfracture in his right knee and the franchise announced he is likely to miss the rest of the year. At the least, recovery time will take nine months.

This puts his return as early as next season.

It is a major blow for the Clippers, making their playoff push even more bleak and giving them reason to just tank the season and call it a day.

The team already looks deflated and it seems like Doc Rivers may be out the door.

What will happen to DeAndre Jordan? Will L.A. make any moves before the trade deadline? So many questions needs answers for the franchise.
