Paul George Calls Out the Indiana Pacers for Attempting to Trade Him

Bret screwed Bret!

Throughout the season, the Indiana Pacers have been the biggest disappointment of the 2017 NBA season. With key additions of Jeff Teague and Thaddeus Young in the off-season, we were assuming the team had enough talent to become viable contenders in the Eastern Conference.

Unfortunately, the Pacers have maintained a .500 performance, with the front office looking to switch things and build the team around Myles Turner. During the All-Star break, Larry Bird and the Indiana front-office looked to add talent around their superstar, but failed to improve things. The Pacers even tried to trade away Paul George, who’s on the third year of his $91 million deal.

The Los Angeles kid didn’t take too kindly of not knowing his name was actively being brought up in trade talks; and voiced his displeasure with the organization, after their morning shoot around. PG-13 will still remain with the team until the summer of 2019, when his contract ends; but more mediocre environments with the Pacers could have him looking elsewhere for a title.

Take a look at the interview below and his take on almost being traded.
