Get well soon PG13!

Paul George may be in New York City in light of the NBA All-Star weekend festivities, but all he can focus on is his return to the court. He’s been missing from the Indiana Pacers lineup since this Summer, when he suffered a freak injury during a Team USA scrimmage.

When asked about his injury and imminent return at the 40/40 Club during a New Era Cap public design session, PG13 said he’s targeting a March 1 return to practice.

“I have targeted March 1 as the date that I would go 100 percent in practice, and if everything felt good, I’d give myself another two weeks to get in shape to play in a game. The biggest fear I have is injuring my [left] healthy leg because I’m so used to it being the stronger one and I don’t want to overcompensate for it. I got a rod in my other one, so that’s stronger than it was before.”

The Pacers are only two games out of 7th place in the Eastern Conference standings, with a good chance of making the playoffs.
