Paul Pierce Says Goodbye to the NBA Career in Los Angeles

This was Paul Pierce‘s farewell tour. He was supposed to come in and help the Los Angeles Clippers get over the hump and avoid another early round NBA Playoff exit. Unfortunately, things don’t always go as planned and The Truth had to go out disappointed.

The Clippers were eliminated at home by the Utah Jazz in Game 7, and that storybook ending didn’t happen for him. Either way, he is a future Hall of Famer and had some stellar years in his career.

After the game, he told reporters he has no regrets and he gave this game his all throughout his career. All the blood, sweat and tears culminated to a championship with the Boston Celtics and he’s going to go down as one of the greatest players to play the game.

He will finish a 10-time All Star, 15th on the All-Time Leading Scorers list (right behind Tim Duncan), and NBA Champion. There’s no denying the imprint he had on the NBA.

Although his last game played would be in a Clippers jersey, he’s going to sign a 1-day contract with Boston and rightly retire as a member of the Celtics. It’s only right.

Salute to The Truth!!
