Rajon Rondo and Isaiah Thomas Ejected for Talking Trash

The talk around the league with players and coaches this season has put the referees in the spotlight, because multiple athletes have come out and condemned them for how much they’re calling fouls, ejected people and giving out technicals. This latest incident is not making anything worse.

In today’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans game, Isaiah Thomas and Rajon Rondo wound up barking at each other and ejected.

The two were surprised, considering the second technical came a little while later.

All of the shit talking came after the two got tangled on a screen and called for a foul. When they got in each other’s face and players from both teams gathered to break the two up before things escalated, they couldn’t stop talking shit to each other. We’d love to hear what they were saying to each other.

If you’re wondering why the two have so much tension towards each other, it’s probably because of those comments Rondo made about Thomas being celebrated on his return to Boston. Rajon said that the honor should be reserved to players who have ton a championship with the Celtics.

This beef ended early, but we guarantee it comes back.

Here’s what IT had to say in the locker room after the game. He said Rondo hit him in the face three times, but he doesn’t know why he got ejected. He said Rajon brought up the tribute video during their verbal jabs.
