Russell Westbrook Explains ‘Rock-A-Baby’ NBA Taunting Move

As one of our favorite players in the game, it’s always fun to watch Russell Westbrook play. Just recently, he’s taunted several players with the “Rock-A-Baby” celebration after scoring on them, especially if they’re going heads up and the tension is high with the opposition.

In a visit with The Tonight Show, Russ breaks down where the taunting move came from, telling Jimmy Fallon that he does it to players smaller than him. “You gotta treat them like babies.” Obviously, it’s a reference to being a new dad.

He also talks about his new Jordan Brand off-court sneaker and new clothing collection, even signing the shoes and giving away to a fan in the audience.

After starting out the season slow, the Oklahoma City Thunder currently sit at third in the Western Conference with a 15-7 record.
