“I’m gonna throw one of these chicken wings at your fat ass”
It’s always a back-and-forth between SHAQ and Charles Barkley on Inside The NBA. Chuck loves to talk and continues saying the same thing 15 times throughout the span of a segment and sometimes, O’Neal doesn’t even get a word in. On tonight’s episode after the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the two got into it over chicken wings and it was comedy.
Charles was trying to make a point, but SHAQ quickly shut down any NBA Finals talk, because he has way more experience than Barkley ever had. Chuck quickly fired back saying he was only riding on the coattails of Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and Alonzo Mourning and things almost escalated to the throwing of chicken wings.
SHAQ legit looked pissed and threatened to punch Charles. He was one comment away from doing so. And in the middle of the panel, it was real quiet for Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson during the exchange, as the two tried to calm the situation down a bit.
Ultimately, no violence went down and the two finished the segment. Still funny, though.
