Imagine Steph Curry actually signing with Swoosh!

Earlier this week, Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank spoke with CNBC, regarding how President Donald Trump is an “asset” to the United States. Well, this didn’t sit well with public praise for the current Commander-in-Chief, as Steph Curry voiced his opinion on the popular apparel company.

In a conversation with reporters before tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls, the league’s former MVP said that he agreed with everything Mr. Plank said about Donald – but believed the “et” should be removed. UA issued another statement, soon after some backlash, clarifying their stance of the company’s position with the Donald; but the damage was already done for athletes like Curry.

Take a look below at Steph’s response to U.A. supporting President Trump.

Curry also owns stake in Under Amour, and is under an exlcusive contract until 2024.

“It’s a fine line but it’s about how we’re operating – how inclusive we are, what we stand for. He’s the President. There are going to be people that are tied to them. But are we promoting change? Are we doing things that are going to look out for everybody? And not being so self-serving that it’s only about making money, selling shoes, doing this and that. That’s not the priority. It’s about changing lives. I think we can continue to do that. There is no amount of money, there is no platform I wouldn’t jump off if it wasn’t in line with who I am.”
