Steph Curry’s Huge 3rd Quarter Leads Warriors to NBA Finals in Game 7 Win over Rockets

Another Warriors vs. Cavaliers NBA Finals. . .

Following Saturday’s blowout victory at home over the Houston Rockets, the Golden State Warriors were on the road in the H for game 7 of their grueling Western Conference Finals series.

As expected, James Harden and the Rockets came out firing early, to take a double-digit lead heading into half time. While Houston was firing from all angles on the offensive end, including getting Clint Capela some touches (before they stopped looking for him in the second half, big mistake), Steph Curry was on a mission to make sure his team didn’t suffer an upset loss.

In the third quarter, Curry had a breakout playoff moment, as he scored 11-points in the period. This set the tone for the fourth quarter, as the Rockets went cold, missing 27 consecutive three-pointers – resulting in a win for Dub Nation. Golden State heads to their fourth consecutive NBA Finals, where all have been played against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

As the Warriors get to enjoy a little bit of time tonight, we know the team is heavily preparing for the juggernaut out east. Take a look at highlights from the game and let us know in the comments who you have winning the last series. Game 1 of the NBA Finals | Thursday, May 31 | 9:00pm ET on ABC.
