Steph Curry Sets Finals 3-Point Record, Gets into Altercation with Kendrick Perkins

Inching closer to his first finals MVP

Following the controversial ending to game 1 of the NBA Finals last Thursday, King James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were back at Oracle Arena to avenge their heart-breaking loss.

Beforehand, it was speculated that suspensions would happen, following altercations from Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love (who left the bench in a scuffle). LeBron received early help from George Hill, filling in a much-needed backcourt void of scoring. However, Steph Curry would lead his pack of wolves – going on a three-point shooting spree in pivotal moments of the game.

He went to set the record for most threes ever made in an NBA Finals game, as he broke Ray Allen’s previous record with the 2010 Boston Celtics. Steph finished with the night as top scorer among all, netting nine three-pointers, to bring his total to 33-points. Take a look at his brief altercation with Kendrick Perkins; as we hope Big Perk gets to suit up this series – for entertainment purposes.
