Steven Adams Dunks All Over Hassan Whiteside Off an Alley-Oop

Here’s a fun fact. Over 50% of Steven Adams’ field goals are coming off a pass from Russell Westbrook. That means if Russ isn’t dishing out the assists for those triple doubles, Adams isn’t really creating offense. But the two have been forming good chemistry this season and it shows up on plays like these.

In the second quarter of tonight’s game against the Miami Heat, Westbrook played off a great pick and roll from the top of the key. The result? An alley-oop to Adams, who dunked it all over Hassan Whiteside. He was hanging on the rim and damn near being carried on his back like a piggy back.

Adams finished with 15 points and 8 rebounds, but the real star for the Oklahoma City Thunder was Russy again. Posting his 15th triple double of the season. Straight beasting.

29 points, 11 assists and 17 rebounds. Seventeen rebounds. From a point guard. What the fuck.

FINAL: OKC 106 | MIA 94
