2016 starts in Mile High!

Regardless if Peyton Manning is retired, the NFL felt reigning Super Bowl MVP Von Miller and the Denver Broncos insane defense was good enough for an opening night rematch against Cam Newton and his Carolina Panthers. Tonight, Roger Goodell and his associates have released the official 2016 football schedule, as fans of their favorite franchises carefully plot out plans for the upcoming NFL Draft in two weeks and how they will spend the rest of their spring.

Other key national TV games, include the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals, who were both Conference Championship runner-ups. Chandler Jones will also look to make Bill Belichick regret the shocking trade a few weeks ago, that resulted in the outside linebacker going out west.

Later in the week on Monday night, the Los Angeles Rams will bring back their uniforms for the first time in over 20 years, as they’ll head to the Bay Area for a match-up against Chip Kelly and his new offense of the 49ers. With the Rams all but confirmed to draft Carson Wentz, after their trade with the Tennessee Titans earlier today, San Francisco is still trying to move its former franchise quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Take a look at the first batch of national TV games in full below.

Week One National Prime-Time Schedule

Thursday Night Football 9/8: Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos

Sunday Night Football 9/11: New England Patriots at Arizona Cardinals

Monday Night Football 9/12: Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Redskins

Monday Night Football 9/12: Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
