Where do you think Boggie will land?

With the Sacramento Kings set to likely miss out on the post-season for the eleventh consecutive year, it looks like the DeMarcus Cousin experiment could be coming to an end. According to Yahoo Sports, the front-office of Sac-Town has been trying to trade away their superstar center, but many GMs and teams have been reluctant to exchange quality talent and/or draft picks.

Boogie, who can become a free agent during the summer of 2018, hasn’t signed a contract extension, which could indicate that his tenure is indeed reaching an end. Even with averaging 26 points and 8 rebounds through the first two weeks of the year, he’s already received a $25,000 fine, a technical foul and getting in trouble for throwing his mouth piece into the stands.

Take a look below at people from around the league giving their two cents.

An Eastern Conference general manager.
“They’ll never get what they want in return. They think Cousins is worth more than he actually is. He hurts you every bit as much as he helps you. He’s like a cheeseburger, or booze. Too much and you’ll pay a price.”

Anonymous general manager.
“I’d be terrified with that guy on my team,” one general manager said. “They’ve asked me about him, what I’d give up. The answer is not much, no one that I value.”

A Western Conference executive.
“I’d take Cousins, but you’d need a dominant personality to control him. I’ve been in that locker room. He’s a problem. They’d love to trade him, but can’t. So they act like they won’t. They would, though — tomorrow.”
