Utah Jazz Shock Houston Rockets With Win, Tie Series at 1 Each

After last game, it seemed like the Houston Rockets were in the driver’s seat against the young Utah Jazz team that has never been in this position before.

Then those same youngsters took the lead against James Harden and company, to the tune of going up by as much as 19 in the first half. The Rockets managed to come back from the deficit in the third quarter but the Jazz kept fighting for the win.

Although Donovan Mitchell scored a solid 17 points on the night, it was Joe Ingles who snapped and led Utah in scoring with 27 points. That was a career high for him.

James Harden led the Rockets in scoring with 32 points and 11 assists and had some highlights of his own during the third quarter.

With the series tied up at 1, do you think the Jazz have a chance to beat the Rockets in the series or did they just get lucky with this win? Will it go seven games?

After the game, Mitchell said his team continues to be resilient and gives it up to the guys that stepped up on the night (Alec Burks, Dante Exum, etc.). He also gave a shout to the defense they played.
