WWE’s Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania Over after ACL Injury with Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe ambushes Seth Rollins

Over the weekend, WWE presented the public with plans for a possible Triple H and Seth Rollins fight this spring at WrestleMania. However, Vince McMahon and his immediately family may be looking another direction, following another possible major injury to their top star.

In a confrontation with HHH, the former shield member suffered a knee injury, during the attack and debut of wrestling legend Samoa Joe. Many believe it was an accidental landing that caused the set-back, with Joe not even at fault for his first appearance on RAW. Seth re-aggravated his ACL, which was originally torn with his MCL at a house-show in November 2015.

He soon made his in-ring return last May, missing the cut for WWE’s biggest annual yearly show by a month. It looks like he’ll be out another 6 months, with the possibility of returning in-time for SummerSlam at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in August. This on-going program with Rollins, Helmsley, Joe and Kevin Owens is now on indefinite hold, so expect another Roman Reigns April run.
