PlayStation Neo 4K + PSVR?

While Sony hasn’t been public about plans for their upcoming PlayStation Neo 4K console, the company revealed last month at e3 that the device was indeed an imminent real release.

However, they decided not to announce anything about the system and focused on their upcoming Virtual Reality headset that launches this fall. But, for those of you NOT interested in taking gaming away from the small-screen, should be interested in this latest piece of leaked news.

According to reports from entertainment.ie, Amazon’s Spanish site prematurely threw up a pre-order date of October 13th and also revealed the new system would cost $399.99.

This would mark the exact date Sony plans to launch their upcoming PSVR device, which will cost $399.99 at retailers, or even $599.99 if you’re forced into a bundle (over $799.99 USD if don’t own a standard PS4 if the moment and want the works).

Surprisingly, this would match the upcoming Xbox One Slim unit releasing in three weeks at retail; but many are expecting Microsoft’s Scorpio console to run up to $499.99.

Let us know if you plan on selling your current-gen PlayStation 4 or Xbox One systems to GameStop for $50 bucks, then covering the balance on an upgrade in the comments below.
