Donald Glover Partners with Marvel for ‘Deadpool’ TV Series

coming 2018!

With the second season of Atlanta set to return next year, Donald Glover continues his overall deal with FXX for another show. Today, Marvel Television has revealed that Glover will create an official Deadpool animated series, in association with FX Productions and ABC Studios.

At the moment, the spin-off series is set to have a 10-episode first season, which will debut in 2018. This summer, Gambino is set to make his introduction into the Marvel Universe, through Spider-Man: Homecoming; but will transition over to the X-Men U for the TVMA-themed show.

Although no voice actors have been confirmed, it’s likely that Donald could provide contributions through a secondary character. Given his new deal with Disney, we’re certain he wouldn’t jump out the box and star as the beloved foul-mouthed Wade Wilson.

Look for possible more details to surface this summer at Comic-Con.

FOX Dates ‘Deadpool 2’, ‘New Mutants’ & ‘X-Men Dark Phoenix’ Films
