Meet the new Moonman!
With the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards set to invade the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles next week, the show is set to see a major change. Miley Cyrus is already on full troll-mode with various commercial for the show to boost ratings and talk on social media, but the event will see a colorful redesign. Legendary fashion designer, Jeremy Scott has given the 2015 edition of the Moonman Award a complete facelift.
The rainbow-styled theme sees the spaceman statue sporting winged toes, as well as an updated flag – signature of Scott’s fashion design. In follow-up to the popular KAWS collaboration in 2013 for Brooklyn, the West Coast is seeing a completely different look, when the VMAs air live this August 30th at 9:00pm ET.
