Marvel Studios Loses Major Writer to DC Comics

DCU digital service coming 2018!

With DC Comics in advanced stages of green-lighting their upcoming Watchmen series, we can’t help but wonder whether or not they have more live-action premium network series in the works. Although a large bulk of their shows air on national networks, we’re hopeful the comic company takes a look into shifting more shows to HBO and their upcoming digital platform.

That subscription service from DC Comics, is set to launch in 2018, with a Titans live-action series. However, DC revealed some major news this week, as they snatched away Marvel comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis. In the past, B.M.B. had been known for writing Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Defenders and the former PlayStation Network exclusive series, Powers.

It’s still unclear what his exact role will be, or if he’ll be contribute to up-starting a new DCEU collection of shows; but we’ll be keeping you informed when something major transpires.
