Coming 2019. . . .
With both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad receiving mostly negative attention, Warner Bros. has a lot to be happy about this summer.
Last month, the company released their live-action Wonder Woman movie, becoming one of the year’s biggest films – generating nearly $800 million in worldwide box office revenue.
After making the announcement of a sequel last weekend at Comic-Con, DC Comics has now confirmed that Wonder Woman 2 will officially open in theaters December 19, 2019.
Along with the recently announced Shazam film, WW2 now becomes DC’s biggest film release in the final year of the decade – at least until they confirm a release window for The Batman with Ben Affleck. Let us know in the comments if you’re interested in an immediate sequel.
